WEKC Radio Station was established in 1981 by Monty McAnnally and was a rock station. Mr. McAnnally sold WEKC to Trio Broadcasting Company and in 2000, Reverand Gerald and Helen Parks bought WEKC , moved it to Main Street in downtown Williamsburg, KY and changed the station's format to all gospel! Since switching over to all gosple music, WEKC Radio has been rated #1 by the Christian/Gospel Magazine, the Singing News. We are the home of the BEST Southern and Bluegrass Gospel Music with over a 400 square mile radius coverage area!

Now, a little bit about the staff of WEKC Radio: Reverand Gerald and Helen Parks are the proud owners of WEKC Radio Station. Rev. Parks has 2 programs that air on WEKC, Outreach Ministries plays Monday through Friday from 10:30am(EST) - 11:00am (EST) and on Sunday mornings from 9:00am - 9:30am (EST). You may also tune into Rev. Parks every Sunday afternoon from 3:00pm - 4:00pm (EST) for Hometown Gospel Hour. Rev. Parks and Mrs. Parks have been HAPPILY married for MORE THAN 60 YEARS!!!! And they are the proud parents of 1 son and 3 daughters and the proud grandparents of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Their daughter, Kay is the General Manager of WEKC and has been with the station since her parents took over. She is the host of the very popular Tri-County Spotlight, the buy, sell, trade or giveaway show which airs Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 10:15am (EST). In that hour and 15 minutes, she averages between 100 and 150 phone calls. She would like to personally thank everyone for making the program a HUGE success.

Rev. Gerald and Helen's grandson, Kay's son, Aaron has been with WEKC since 2013. Aaron is the weekday DJ, always playing your requests! So don't hesitate to call him with yours today! Since he has been here, he has been promoted from DJ to Music Director.

Jami is the current Sales Manager at WEKC. She started out in July of 2003 as DJ, promoted to Music Director, then moved over to the head of the Sales Department.
